2 days and a couple of minutes left of precious 2013. That fact given I felt the need to do a quick last post. Torn between doing a "year in review" and a "new year's resolutions" thing, I decided to do a mixture of both.
(You don't always have to choose.)
The year, where
…I turned 20. (I'm officially in my 20's now, haha)
…I went on a journey with my sister for the first time, just the two of us. (Portugal is awesome!)
…I bought my Instax camera and started taking polaroids. (I love love love them.)
…me and my sister ran 10k at the Austrian Women's Run.
…I went to my first festival.
…I couldn't finish my dessert at my sister's birthday brunch. It was tragic. (This is definitely about chocolate mousse and not about my sister's 26th birthday!)
…we were blessed with suite karma and being milanese.
…my hair went from semi-ombre to brown again, and I only needed 2 haircuts for that. (Let's all ignore my fake smile in both pictures, yeah? hahaha :D)
…I couldn't resist buying an iPhone anymore. (Apparently I have to work on those mirror-selfies. And cleaning the mirror before taking pictures would also be a good idea.)
…I can finally say: YES, I do have a driver's license! Just no car to go with it.
…my sister, my mother and me took a trip to Salzburg.
…I gave my blog a new shot.
Of course there was much much more to this year than all of the above, but I would probably need whole 2014 to tell you about that. (Un)fortunately 2014 is reserved for a bunch of new adventures, tragedies and journeys.
It's time for new year's resolutions. To be honest I only started with 'having' resolutions last year and I wasn't able to fulfill all of them. However, to my surprise, I kept some. Encouraged by a little sense of achievement I'll also write down a few for 2014. (One of my new year's resolutions will definitely involve my blog.)
I haven't made my mind up about my goals in 2014, or whatever you like to call it, yet. Nevertheless I will do that in the next 48 hours and yes, I also intend to actually reach these goals.
(If only I had that kind of motivation for the infinite number of exams in january.)
Last but not least, I wish all of you a wonderful remaining 2013 and a happy new 2014!
