Summer has finally arrived. Although I'm still having a lack of plans, I'm trying to make use of every today and tomorrow. (I'm such a poet.) To put it plainly, spontaneous adventures are more than welcome currently. So last wednesday my mom and I took a little road trip to the Marchfeld.
Schloss Hof is a beautiful building with a widespread garden, fountains, tons of blooming flowers and, most importantly, a big pasture area for a bunch of animals. To be honest, the 'petting zoo' was the main reason I wanted to go there. I'm fairly convinced that seeing and hearing and stroking cute animals multiplies my daily happiness level by a thousand! However, surprisingly, it was the whole place I fell in love with.
For such a spontaneous idea we were quite lucky with the weather. Sunshine, a few clouds and a perfect temperature for running around and taking pictures.
"Die Spring-Brunnen und Wasser sind gleichsam die Seele der Gärten und ihre vornehmste Zierde, indem sie dieselben, so zu reden, beseelen und beleben. Es ist gewiß, daß ein Garten, er sey auch so schön, als er immer wolle, ganz traurig und schwermütig scheinet, wenn er kein Wasser hat, und daß ihm sodann eines von seinen schönsten Teilen fehlet."
And last but not least, I give you some pocketable animal sweetness. If that isn't enough for your daily portion of joy I highly recommend to visit these cuties yourself as soon as possible! :D
As always you can find a little video of the trip on YouTube and of course wonderfully embedded here. Enjoy!
